We love adventure
Fidalgo Yacht Club has a long history of offering exciting cruising adventures and fun social activities to its power and sail boating membership and their families. For us, learning and play go hand-in-hand. We take pride in promoting good seamanship, safe cruising practices, and appreciating the Pacific Northwest’s marine environment. (See our favorite places.)
We enjoy being together
We meet regularly at our clubhouse in Anacortes’s Skyline neighborhood on Fidalgo Island’s northwest corner. Here, we, along with newcomers interested in boating, gather to share in club cruises, social hours, and dinner meetings, whose programs range from boating issues to cruising ideas. The clubhouse is also available to members for private functions.
We're helpful to each other
Our members, many of whom are seasoned long- and short-range cruisers, enjoy the reciprocal mooring privileges we share with over fifty yacht clubs in the greater Puget Sound and Canadian Islands.
In addition, our newsletter Poseidon and website keep our members up-to-date on the Club’s latest social activities and monthly cruising schedule. We are a member-driven club. Elected leaders and a host of volunteers plan and carry out every activity. It’s a great way to learn more about boating and the community, and to make new friends. |
